Logo Explainer

What is that? A thumbprint? A topographical map? The eye of a hurricane?

Those are typical questions I get when people see the logo.

As you can imagine, coming up with a logo for "Salt Church" takes quite the creative mind. Luckily, I have the great Brandon Petry in my corner.

When he sent this back to me, even I was a little confused on what it represented. Come to find out, it perfectly communicates the foundation of Salt Church - discipleship.

The logo is meant to communicate a ripple effect...sound waves...woodgrain. It shows that one ripple moves another. One wave pushes another. One disciple should make another disciple.

As salt of the earth, we are to make impact on the world and call others to do the same. A massive ripple effect.

So far, the Lord has been faithful to bring qualified leaders with a heart of servanthood to come alongside me and join the vision of this plant.

The ripple is just beginning...
