SALT WOMEN
Welcome to Salt Women!
The mission of our women's ministry is to help the women of Salt Church grow in their relationship with Christ by equipping them to study and apply God's Word as they connect with, care for, and serve with one another within the church and the community.
Throughout the year, we have Bible studies, book clubs, events, and a retreat to help us achieve this vision. We pray that when you come to a Salt Women event, you feel right at home while finding the support, encouragement, and training for all that God is calling you to do.
What's Coming Up?
Spring Bible Study: God of Freedom
starting the week of January 19th
Desert Springs Community Church
Join us this spring as we dive into Exodus 19-40 through Jen Wilkin's study, God of Freedom. Journey through the story of how God shepherds His newly-liberated children into an understanding of what their freedom means: lives consecrated for service to God and to one another. Discover how the God who created you and made a covenant with you will deliver you from death to life, for His name and renown. Whether you're new to Bible Study or have been studying for years, this is a space to grow in your faith and knowledge of God's Word while connecting with other Salt Women. Choose from Monday evening or Wednesday morning sessions. The cost is $25 for the workbook. Childcare is provided. Click below to register today.
Moms Praying Together
3rd Tuesday of each month, 9:00-10:00am
Joanna Schulze's Home
On the third Tuesday of each month, moms of all ages gather at Joanna Schulze's home to pray over their spouses and children. If needed, bring your kids along and they can play together during prayer time. For more details, reach out to our Salt Women Director, Penny Swanson at penny.swanson@saltchurchaz.com.

Penny Swanson
Salt Women Director
Hi, I'm Penny. My husband Fred and I have been married 36 years and have lived in Arizona for 28 of those years. We have two adult children - a daughter and son-in-law who have our sweet granddaughter and a son who is single.
God has used many Godly women in my life over the years to pour into me His wisdom, truth, grace, and love. It is my hope and prayer that God uses the ministry of Salt Women to bring women together in the same way so that they are encouraged and challenged to grow in their knowledge of and faith in God while fulfilling their God-given roles of wives, moms, sisters, daughters, friends, and more.
