Salt Youth is our ministry for students grades 6 through 12. We meet Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:15am in the auxiliary gym of Canyon View High School. On the last Sunday of the month, there will be no youth meeting. Students should still plan to attend one of the Salt Church services on these Sundays.
What To Expect
Each Sunday morning at Salt Youth, we kick things off with a fun game and time of fellowship. Then we break into smaller groups - split by gender and by middle school or high school - for Bible study.
In these groups, we'll read the week's passage together then reflect on it by sharing specific observations, asking questions, and discussing how the passage applies to our lives today. Afterward, we come back together as one group and close out the morning before attending the 10:30am main service together in the auditorium.
Our goal as a youth group is based out of intentionality. We want to know each student well, develop authentic relationships, and always point back to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To stay up to date on what's going on in Salt Youth, click the button below to join our Salt Youth email list.

Hi, I'm Aren. I am the youngest of four and was born and raised in Arizona on a dairy farm. I played college football at Dordt University where I also earned my bachelor's degree in Theology.
