Salt Youth is our ministry for students grades 6 through 12. We meet Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00pm in the auditorium of Canyon View High School.
What To Expect
On Sunday evenings, we will begin with a time of fellowship and a few games. After this, we will settle in for worship and a lesson, followed by small group time where leaders will help facilitate diving deeper into the Word, building community, and applying Biblical principles to walk through life with.
Small groups are developed by similar class grades and walks of life to help students connect with peers their own age.
Our goal as a youth group is based out of intentionality. We want to know each student well, develop authentic relationships, and always point back to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Aren Van Hofwegen
Hi, I'm Aren. I am the youngest of four and was born and raised in Arizona on a dairy farm. I played college football at Dordt University where I also earned my bachelor's degree in Theology.

I am excited to serve alongside your students and help guide them to what it really means to follow Jesus!
